Saint-Clair's crystal water lets you watch the wildlife without a mask — simply standing on your board. Here are the most common species.

Salema

In silvery yellow-striped schools, very visible near the eastern rocks.

Rainbow wrasses

Small and colourful, dancing between the seagrass.

Seabream

Along rocky drop-offs, especially early in the morning.

Octopus

More discreet, occasionally spotted in cracks at 2 – 3 metres deep.
