Saint-Clair's crystal water lets you watch the wildlife without a mask — simply standing on your board. Here are the most common species.
Salema
In silvery yellow-striped schools, very visible near the eastern rocks.
Rainbow wrasses
Small and colourful, dancing between the seagrass.
Seabream
Along rocky drop-offs, especially early in the morning.
Octopus
More discreet, occasionally spotted in cracks at 2 – 3 metres deep.
