12 April 2026 · 6 min
Saint-Clair is one of the most beautiful beaches on the French Riviera: 600 metres of fine sand, crystal-clear water and a preserved setting between hills and Mediterranean sea. It's the perfect launch spot to discover the Var coast by paddleboard.
Renting a paddle in Saint-Clair
Location Paddle Saint Clair welcomes you directly on the beach. From €15 an hour, explore the bay at your own pace with life jacket and leash included.
The coastal path
Starting from the eastern end of the beach, the trail follows the shore to Fossette cove — a 30-minute walk to reach some of the clearest turquoise water in the Var.
Snorkeling and seabed
The rocks on the western point shelter salema, rainbow wrasses and sea urchins. A mask and snorkel are enough for a free-diving session anyone can enjoy.
